Annie+Reid {engagements}
So, I actually met Annie and Reid through craigslist. Funny, huh? I was perusing the site last year, and there was this ad from a couple looking for a wedding photographer. I figured it wouldn’t do any harm just to reply, so I did. And then they said they wanted to meet with me. And then I freaked out. You see, we’ve had some, uh…let’s just call them “interesting”…experiences when we’ve responded to craigslist postings. I was kind of afraid of what I was getting myself into. Well, needless to say, I am SO glad I responded to that posting! They are fantastic, and I’m super excited about their October wedding. We started out in Armstrong Park and then wandered around the Bywater a bit for these engagement pictures.

I love the street names on the sidewalks around here, and I’ve been wanting to take a “desire” picture for a while now. *sigh of satifaction* Finally… :-)

This is another shot I’ve been wanting to do for a while. As of late, there has been a lot of graffiti around the city having to do with reading and books. I’m not really sure what it’s about, though… some sort of grassroots campaign to inspire people to read more, maybe? That’s what I’m going with anyway.

This one might be my favorite. I think he takes her breath away…

I really, really like the desire pic!
Once again I am amazed by your talent. You captured the awesome love between these two.
I love your perspective on things! I was “taught” to take “portraits”…traditionally. I’m now trying to reteach myself to take more untraditional ones…I love them so much more! It’s hard to retrain myself, though. You do amazing!!
Wow! these are gorgeous! Annie and Reid picked the right photographer for sure! :) I continue to look forward to your photos!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – so talented! Amazing pictures Diana! I love that you get to do what you love to do!
